A visit to the Rogue Buddha Gallery offers our patrons a rare opportunity to peer into the mind and world of a working artist. All exhibition programming, decor and "items of interest" are based upon the artwork, inspirations and curiosities of gallery owner and artist, Nicholas Harper.
Since 1999 Harper's distinctive taste and voice has offered our guests a vision and visual experience unavailable elsewhere, making the Rogue Buddha not just unique, but truly a one of a kind experience.
Unloved Creatures 2020 is a mutation of the wildly successful 2019 show at Rogue Buddha Gallery. Eli Libson, Alex Kuno, Heather Renaux, and John Sauer are back AND the creativity and energy are doubled with four more artists added to the mix; Angel Hawari, DC Ice, Kao Lee Thao & Jessie McNally!
Here's just some of the tantalizing works of art available now.
Make your gallery experience all the more valuable by scheduling a private viewing for you and your friends.
We are proud to offer our patrons the opportunity to experience our exhibitions privately. There simply is no better way to enjoy everything an exhibit has to offer than by doing so at your convenience and with a glass of wine, coffee or hot tea. You are also assured the full attention of gallery staff to answer your questions and talk in depth about the work on display. Whether alone or as a small group, your private viewing at the Rogue Buddha Gallery is sure to be a memorable experience. Learn More HERE

Nicholas Harper is an Atelier trained, award-winning artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He refers to his personal artistic style as magical realism and counts Russian and Orthodox Iconography, lliterature and philosophy as among his most significant influences.
Perhaps most well known for his distinctive portraits of women with long necks, Harper refers to these paintings as contemporary icons. In doing so he intends to convey a personal symbology in which the compositions transcend portraiture and become vehicles for allegory and myth building.
Don't just take our word for it.

"This is one of my favorite galleries in Minneapolis. The artworks exhibited here are always intriguing. The themes you'll find mostly exhibited here are baroque, strange, "evil", surrealistic portrait paintings."
