The Fourth Night of Halloween
Tonight's Halloween offering is inspired by the the ongoing story in which we learn the town is called Grimm's Grove. This is of course an homage to the Brothers Grimm.
This piece in particular is a bit of a play on words/concepts. The Grimm brothers were Jacob and Wilhelm. Completely unrelated, but fitting, is a term called the Wilhelm Scream, which refers to a famous scream in cinematic history, a sound bite that is often placed in films as a bit of an ongoing insider joke. This scream appears in over 400 films including Star Wars, the Indiana Jones Series and Lord of the Rings to name but a few.

Hello DC Family!
It’s that special spooky and mystical time of year once again! To celebrate the thinning of the veil, we are hosting a special edition Death Cafe on an unconventional day and time. Please note that this event will not follow the standard Death Cafe routine—get ready for an extraordinary evening!
About the Evening
On November 5th, 2022, a team of investigators conducted a paranormal investigation at the historic Grant House in Rush City, MN. One of the sessions produced an extraordinary amount of evidence—captured through spirit box communication, mediumship, shadow sightings, and even physical spirit interaction—all taking place within a remarkable 18-minute window. It is the most powerful interaction with spirit this team has ever encountered.
Join us as we play the full 18-minute recording, break down its most compelling moments of paranormal activity, and host a live Q&A session paired with demonstrations of the equipment used.

About Death Cafe Twin Cities
Ever think about what happens when you die? Wonder about mortality, how you want to be buried, or even if ghosts are real?
Death Cafe Twin Cities is a space for open, honest, and organic conversations about death, dying, life, and living. We bring together friends and strangers in a relaxed, safe, and welcoming atmosphere to discuss our one shared commonality: mortality.
While we typically follow a free-flowing, small-group format with no predetermined agenda, we love to think outside the box. We embrace innovative formats like cemetery walks, annual ancestral potluck dinners, and presentations from industry experts like morticians and paranormal investigators.
Note: While this is not a grief support group, we recognize that everyone's journey with grief is unique. We provide a safe space for open dialogue with zero pressure to share. Discussions can range from witty and humorous to quiet and reverential. Come with an open mind and heart, and let's make this evening as enjoyable and fun as possible!
